Genuinely Guinea Approved LINKS

Itching to be elsewhere? Then point those mouses/meeses/whatever ... to these locations! Guaranteed to be some of the best in the 'Verse!

SO, where do you want to go today?

THE LINK OF LINKS!

I would be remiss if I did add these three links to my site! If you don't go anywhere else, point yourselves to these three sources!

THE CAVE OF CHOIRS
You can find all of Rebekah's fiction there, as well as fanfic by Lord Nelson, Imbri, and Anon. Reading Rebekah's fiction is a must, however ... she was one of the first bards of the Xenaverse and her work is not to be missed!

Xena Online Resources
Why muck around on this link page when you can go to the MOTHER of all Xenite link pages?!

Sword and Staff

Comic Links

Believe it or not, XWGP is not the first nor the last artistic endeavor in the Xenaverse (the mind boggles, does it not?) For other "animated" looks at the battling bard and the warrior princess, check out these sites that I've found on the net! If you have a comic site (these are different from  graphics fanart ... I'll have a separate section for that later. This section purely for freehand drawings) that hasn't been listed here let me know and I'll add you to the list! If your site is here and your rather not be associated with crazy guinea pigs, let me know, and I'll take you off! (btw, I AM getting around to e-mailing you all! Promise!)

WARNING: Pay careful attention to the description of these pages. Like the opinions of the fans, the comic talent in the Xenaverse range from alt/slash friendly to Joxer-Gab romantic pages. Though sometimes the sentiment and content of the pages are the total opposite of one another, I find all these expressions of creativy wonderful. However,  you might not, so surfer beware! Also, OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON SITES OTHER THAN THIS ONE ARE NOT NECESSARILY THE OPINIONS HELD BY ME!  I'm just trying to gather all links to all the comics in the Xenaverse in one place! Ahem. Just so you know!

REMEMBER: FEED THE ARTISTS! These people put alot of hard work into these strips, so drop them a line if you look at their work!

Aponce's Comic Page
Sadly, the series hasn't been completed ... YET! But  check out the mini-comics. And maybe if you annoy the artist ... *chuckle* she'd add some more. I like the anime-ish style  of drawing, and everyone has to love the Gabby-action figures, eh? Has a mandatory "subtext" scene in one comic, but should be safe for non-subtexters ... and even Joxer fans!

BATTLE ON!
THE, I mean THE grandmother of ALL Xena comics, Jeanette Atwood is one of the BEST out there (if not THE best). The artwork is excellent, and best of all, it's been running for years so there is plenty to catch up on (sadly, Jeanette retired the comic half a year ago ... waaaaaaaaah)! It also has my favorite Xena comic of all time. So run, don't walk to this site and check it out! (It is  somewhat subtext friendly but it is also Ares friendly .... ooh, he's not delicious, he's only drawn that way ... .heee heee heeee!) Also, be sure to take a look at what Jeanette is doing in the meantime!

BLUNDER ON!
For the Joxer lover in you (Love him, hate him, everyone HAS has to admit SOME fondness for the guy, after nearly six seasons!) come and feed the need. The "ads" on the front page are catchy, and there's plenty of Joxer goodness to go around ... almost 2 years worth. And the artist makes Ares look mighty fine too! Bug the artist for more!

Lucia's Cartoon Connection
A definite must-see site. IMHO, Lucia's comic is the pinnacle of cuteness! Little Xena and Little Gabrielle are wonderfully drawn, and their adventures always bring a grin to my face. Her renditions of Doria from the Missy Good series are precious. My favorite HAS to be Little Gabrielle learning to read!

Scott King's Artwork-
also can be found at: http://ausxip.com/artwork/Scott.htm
Done in the classical comicbook superhero style, X&G never looked so good! However, for the faint of heart, there are a few comics dealing with the crucifixion. Nonetheless, the artwork is superb, and the storylines are funny (if mildly twisted at times!)

Subtext Comics
Well, the name says it all. Not actually a hand-drawn comic series, but screen captures with innnnnnnnteresting comic "balloons" inserted into the dialogue. It's a rather offbeat look at some familiar scenes, and worth a look! Some dialogue IS rather explicit, though, and this DEFINITELY NOT A SITE FOR CHILDREN!

Understanding Xena -
Neato-completo ... it's a Whoosh article consisting ENTIRELY of a comic! Never knew that something so funny could be academic at the same time. Might be considered  a little "altish" with that bathtub scene, but since it's nothing "graphic" (ha-ha) it should be safe for non-subtext lovers too. Has some comic links at the end that were very helpful to me too!

Just a little note to remind you to FEED THE ARTISTS! Just in case you forgot!

Montages and Other Fanart!
The Xenaverse has a diverse range of artists and these artist express their creativity in many diverse ways! Check out these wonderful montage/fanart pages, and (while I marvel jealously at how well these people actually are able to draw humans or merge images from the show! *sigh* If I only could draw humans .... and if I only had a brain ....) Know of other good fanart/montage sites? Let me know!

Dreamer's Montages
Oooh, I'm so jealous .... Dreamer has signed montages,  as well as character themed and season themed montages!  My favorites so far are her post-fin pics! It's also perfect place to visit if you're looking for a new background to spice up your boring ol' PC! Go now!

Marcella's Montages
Marcella's a wonder with  using Xena and Gabby's bod -- I mean images! The choices she uses and the themes of the page evoke one's emotions very well.  Her Remember series is the best! Also, check out those animated pics ...  Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ... I wish I knew how to do animated pics! Just think of the possibilities ... the dancing Guinea pigs .....
