September 20, 2001 -- Well, like most of the United States, I have been feeling quite a shift in priorities lately, especially in the wake of last week's tragedy. My life has been three ways to hectic for the last three months, but goodness, that all seems minor in comparison now.

My thoughts, prayers, and good wishes go to all the families and friends who lost loved ones to the attacks. My heartfelt thanks and awe go to all the rescue workers who risk and are continuing to risk their lives even now. You show us all what it really means to be a hero and ... to be human.

At any rate, no new comic updates ... I have the next two ready to go, but I don't feel like posting them yet. I will, I promise ... soon.

But for now, check out the tribute Mike Luckovich did at the AJC. (Luckovich is a very talented poltical cartoonist ... I don't always agree with  some of the messages, but I can't deny his genius, especially with the two I'm recommending.) His cartoons on September 12, 2001 and September 13, 2001 made me cry. Especially the one on September 13. The power of his art is inexpressible.

Also, the Xenaverse's own  Lucia did a wonderful piece, Starry Starry Night. Another hat's off to her.

I may or may not do my own tribute ... it's such a hard thing to do, and I am so in awe of the artists who can and do make an effort to express what is totally unexpressable, in order to help others heal.

BTW: you can borrow the candle I made for the front-page ... just let me know when and if you do! My only stipulation is that you please also add a Red Cross Banner and a link back to the Red Cross site (you don't necessarily have to link or credit me ... just make sure you link to the Red Cross!!) On another note ... I recieved the Red Cross banner from the Annals of the Conqueror. Thank you.

Finally, I hope and pray for peace ... to all those who are grieving, to our nation which needs to mend, and to all those who have hate in their hearts. Peace.
